1. Who we are
Clamor Data is operated by an individual entrepreneur registered in France. You can reach us at contact@clamordata.com. The service is intended for business, research and professional use.
2. The service
Clamor Data provides structured data on public discourse in short-form video: one labelled record per video (the entities it discusses, the position taken toward each, its reach and the audience response) and aggregates built from those records. It is available through the terminal at /terminal and through the API described at /api.
Figures and records shown on our public pages may be illustrative; where they are, the page says so.
3. Accounts and the day pass
Give accurate details when you register, keep your password and API keys secret, and tell us at contact@clamordata.com if you think they have been exposed. You are responsible for what is done with your account and your keys.
A new account starts with a free day pass: full access for 24 hours, up to 1,000 API calls. One day pass per person and organisation. When it ends, the account remains and access to the data stops until you agree paid access with us.
4. Paid access
Paid access is set out in an order form and a data licence agreement signed with us. Where they differ from these terms, they prevail.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the data for research, analysis and your internal decision-making, and you may publish your own analyses and aggregates built from it. You may not, and may not let anyone else:
- re-identify, or try to re-identify, any person from the data, alone or combined with other data, or try to link a record to an account, a profile or a person;
- contact, target, profile or make decisions about individuals using the data, including for employment, credit, insurance, housing or law enforcement;
- resell, sublicense, redistribute or publish the records themselves, or build a competing dataset from them;
- share API keys, exceed the rate limits or quota, or access the data other than through the terminal and the API;
- scrape this site, probe or test its security, or interfere with the service, without our written permission;
- use the service against the law, including data protection law.
6. The data, its limits, and no advice
The data is produced by statistical and machine-learning methods from public content. It contains estimates and errors, and it is revised when our models improve. It is provided as is, without a promise that it is complete, accurate or fit for a particular purpose.
Nothing we provide is investment, legal or other professional advice. You decide how to use the data and remain responsible for your decisions.
7. Intellectual property
The datasets, records, labels, software and this site belong to us or our licensors and are protected, including as databases. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them under these terms while your access lasts. You own the analyses and works you derive from the data.
8. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time by writing to contact@clamordata.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, puts the service or other users at risk, or where the law requires it, with notice where reasonable. Sections 5, 6, 7 and 9 continue to apply after termination.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, trading losses or loss of data, and our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amounts you paid us in that period, or 100 euros for free access. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes
We may change the service and these terms. We show the date of the current version at the top and tell account holders about material changes by email before they apply. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. We will try to settle any dispute amicably first; failing that, the competent courts are those of the operator's place of registration, unless mandatory law gives you another forum.
