Who is responsible

Clamor Data is operated by an individual entrepreneur registered in France. We decide why and how the personal data described here is processed. For any question or request, write to contact@clamordata.com.

Part A. Visitors, prospects and customers

What we collect.

  • Request forms: name, work email, company, role, use case and your message.
  • Accounts: name, email, organisation, your password stored only as a one-way hash, your sessions (time, IP address, browser), your API keys (stored as hashes) and your API usage.
  • Server logs: IP address, browser, pages and times.
  • Cookies: one strictly necessary session cookie when you sign in. No advertising or analytics cookies today; if we add them, we will ask first.

Why, and on what basis. Answering your request (steps before a contract); providing your account, the day pass, the terminal and the API (contract); invoicing (legal obligation); security, abuse prevention and keeping the service running (legitimate interest).

Who else sees it. Only providers acting on our instructions: our host Contabo GmbH (servers located in France) and our email provider Resend (United States, under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses). We never sell this data or share it with advertisers.

How long. Requests that do not lead to a contract: 24 months. Accounts: while the account exists, then 24 months. Invoices: as long as tax law requires. Server logs: 90 days.

Part B. People whose public posts appear in our data

We measure public discourse in short-form video: what people say about public figures, organisations, brands and issues, how widely it is seen, and how the audience responds. Customers use it for research, market analysis and investment research.

What we collect. Only content published to the general public, collected without an account or a login: the video's text (caption, on-screen text, and a transcript of the speech), public details such as publication time, region, language and engagement counts, and the text of the first page of public comments.

What we derive. For each video: its topic, the entities it discusses and the position taken toward each, and how the audience responds. We do not create voice or face identifiers, and we never identify a speaker by their voice. Audience composition, such as an estimated share of women among commenters, is computed as a statistic for the video and is never stored as a label on a person.

What customers receive. One record per video under our own opaque identifiers, together with the text and labels, and aggregates. Records never include the platform's identifiers, account names or profile links, and our licence forbids customers from trying to re-identify anyone.

Legal basis. Our legitimate interest, and our customers', in measuring public discourse, which people have chosen to make public. Where a post reveals a political opinion or another special category of data, we rely on the fact that the person made it manifestly public. We limit what we keep to what the measurement needs.

How long. The data forms a historical series and is kept for as long as the series is maintained. We review the need at least once a year, and we delete on request (see below).

Opting out. Write to contact@clamordata.com with a link to your profile or post. We will delete what we hold about it and exclude it from future collection.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, a copy in a portable format, or a restriction of its use, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Write to contact@clamordata.com; we answer within one month.

You can also complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr), or to the authority where you live.

Security

Passwords and API keys are stored only as hashes; the site is served over HTTPS only; access to the servers is restricted to the operator. If a breach affects your data, we will tell the authority and, where required, you.

Changes

We will update this notice when our processing changes and show the date at the top. Material changes are announced to account holders by email.
